Most law practices that handle real estate work focus their work on purchase and sale transactions. We've been doing a lot of those for 16 years, but concurrently we've also had a very active estate planning practice. And the result of this is that we've developed a lot of expertise and a lot of activity in transferring properties into entities such as trusts and LLCs.
This may arise in a variety of different contexts, such as estate planning or divorce or inheritance of a property or just structuring property for the optimal structure for the real estate owner.
We have done both real estate and estate planning for a long time, and so this kind of work that falls in between the two has become an area of specialization for us.
We have dedicated staff and deep expertise in the transfer of property outside of purchase and sale transactions. So, if that sort of thing arises in your practice, we are here to help.
